The Art Nouveau Site hosts the Sant Pau International Chamber Music Festival

06 de August de 202501:24h

The Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site will be the venue for the first edition of the Sant Pau International Chamber Music Festival, taking place from 16 to 20 September 2025. The Festival will offer four concerts featuring works by Mozart, Prokofiev, Mendelssohn, and Mahler, among others.

The project goes beyond conventional concerts, as the artists will live together in Barcelona during the days prior, rehearse together in the Art Nouveau Site itself, and shape a collective musical journey that the audience will be able to follow in each performance. This working philosophy, defined as a living artistic residency, makes the festival a dynamic and participatory experience.

More than fifteen international musicians of the highest level will take part in this new festival, including:

  • Daishin Kashimoto (violin, concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic)
  • Alexander Chaushian (cello)
  • Joaquín Riquelme and Diemut Poppen (viola)
  • María Florea, Sumina Studer (violin)
  • Jing Zhao (cello)
  • Uxía Martínez (double bass)
  • Vicente Alberola (clarinet)
  • Lucas Macías Navarro (oboe)
  • Nury Guarnaschelli (horn)
  • And pianists Enrico Pace, Sofía Raichenko, Dmitri Ishkhanov, and marimba player Ría Ideta
