Exhibition: Red Cross 150th anniversary

21 de March de 202211:00h

The Art Nouveau Site celebrates with the Red Cross the 150th anniversary of this organisation in Barcelona by hosting an exhibition in the 1902 space that offers a retrospective view of the most important events that have taken place over the last century and a half through historical objects and documents, photographs and videos. The exhibition, which can be visited from 22 March to 8 April, is supported by the Fundació Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau.

The exhibition will present, firstly, the actions carried out by the organisation to respond to major events in Barcelona throughout history. Secondly, it will present a broad and comprehensible overview of the projects that are currently active in the city, the groups they are aimed at and the main actions they carry out.

This initiative also aims to pay tribute to all the people who have been part of it through volunteering or who have supported the organisation through private or public donations. They are essential to be able to continue working alongside people, carrying out essential humanitarian work in the fields of social intervention, health, child care, relief, employment and international cooperation, among others.

The exhibition will be officially opened on 25 March at 11am in the exhibition space.
