LIFE Victoria: Hugo Brady & Mark Rogers

Emerging talent from Oxford
Once again, continuing our collaboration with the Oxford International Song Festival, the main International Partner of LIFE Victoria, we welcome a duo of young artists from this English festival: tenor Hugo Brady and baritone Mark Rogers. Both will perform at LIFE Victoria as a prelude to the recital by Helen Charlston and Sholto Kynoch, director of this English festival, which recently changed its name from Oxford Lieder to Oxford International Song Festival to reflect the diversity of songs and make it more accessible to audiences. Winner of the 2022 Junior Kathleen Ferrier Competition, Irish tenor Hugo Brady trained at the Royal College of Music and forms a regular duo with Mark Rogers, who trained at the Royal Academy of Music. They have performed at the Leeds Lieder, Ludlow Weekend of Song, Lied Festival Zeist, and now also at LIFE Victoria.
