A musical journey through French Impressionist delicacy and contemporary emotion.

This concert brings together some of today’s most distinguished classical musicians for an evening celebrating the beauty of wind instruments and piano. The programme combines the elegance and refinement of Debussy and Ravel with the deeply evocative sound world of Max Richter, one of the most influential composers of our time.

The evening concludes with two masterpieces by Francis Poulenc: the exquisite Sonata for Flute and Piano and the brilliant Sextet for Wind Instruments and Piano, a vibrant score full of energy, colour and Parisian spirit.
