Under the premise of "culture is healing", the charity exhibition of Japanese art ‘One World’ opens tomorrow, Friday 17 June, in the 1902 space of the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site. A Qualiart initiative that promotes the international visibility of contemporary Japanese art.

The exhibition includes 122 works by Japanese artists, in which you can see a wide range of disciplines such as engraving, watercolor, calligraphy, photography and also the images of the works. which could not be transferred to Barcelona from Japan. Proceeds from the sale of these works will go to St. Paul's Hospital and its Research Institute, specifically in the investigation against Covid-19.

Qualiart and the artists who make up the exhibition continue one of the identity traditions that characterize the old Hospital de Sant Pau, the great work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, who claimed that beauty cares. ‘One World’ aims to demonstrate this impact of art on disease, exhibiting these works and bringing art and beauty closer to the public in a space that was conceived under this premise.

The exhibition can be visited free of charge from Friday 17 to Monday 20 June. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday.
