Conference “Health foundations in Catalonia: public service, roots and tradition”

The Recinto Modernista has hosted the day ‘Health foundations in Catalonia: public service, roots and tradition’, organized by the Catalan Coordinator of Foundations with the aim of explaining the relevance of health foundations in Catalonia and the benefits of this model of public-private collaboration.

The day, which included the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau Foundation, shows that, in the field of health in Catalonia, foundations are very important, both hospital and socio-sanitary ones, those specialized in mental health and even in primary care.

The Catalan Coordinator of Foundations represents the interests of foundations in Catalonia and has more than 700 associated entities from all areas (health, social, educational, research, cultural, cooperative, environmental, etc.), to which it helps them to fulfill their mission and generate social impact in the construction of a fairer society.
