21 de November de 202211:00h

This June, the rehabilitation and consolidation of the exterior parts of the Pabellón de La Purísima began: roof, dome, terraces, water tower and façades. The project also includes the demolition of non-original volumes and the recovery of ornamental elements removed over the years.

This action has been budgeted at €2,329,071 and has a completion period of 10 months. The project has received a grant of €1,274,610 from the 2019 call of the 1.5% Cultural programme, promoted by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. The rest of the funding will be provided by the Fundación Hospital de la Santa Cruz y San Pablo.

In 2009, following the transfer of healthcare activity to the new Hospital, the refurbishment of the 12 modernist pavilions listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO got underway. Of the 12 buildings planned, 8 have been refurbished by 2022.
